A Sneak Peak

I haven't really posted a lot on this blog because I have been working on my BFA right now, and I don't want to show my whole show before I even display it in the gallery. But here are some sneak peaks.

First Art Job

A coworker asked me if I could do portraits of his kids with Christ. So here is my first paid project I have done. It's not much but it is a good start. I didn't think it was the best but he and his wife loved it so I call that a success.

A side note I didn't know how I was going to draw Christ, but I used Dustin, my husband, and it pulled off.

The last two paintings that I have posted are for my children's book that I'm doing for my narrative class. It's about a girl named Lydia who reads about a prince that is locked up in a tower, so she decides to save this prince, and to make it short, she goes through some adventures and finally arrives where the sleeping prince is. Soon afterwards she discovers that she needs to kiss the prince to wake him up, and like any other little girl she thinks boys have cooties and decides not to do it and goes home.
